卡尔Lengel has worked in the lively arts as an actor, 播音员, 经理, 导演, administrator 和 teacher. 在广播, he has accumulated almost 20 years of on-air experience, in formats ranging from AOR 和 pop music to classical 和 jazz, in stations in West Virginia, 宾西法尼亚, 新奥尔良 和 New York.  Karl started at WWNO in 2000 as a sub 播音员 for NPR 和 classical music programming. 从2003年到2005年, Karl was WWNO’s All Things Considered anchor, 和 worked again as a sub at WWNO in 2012-13.

When not on the air, Karl could be found backstage as a stage 经理 in live theatrical productions, including Broadway productions of 西贡小姐 和 Minnelli on Minnelli, 和 national tours of 《易胜博》, 猫, Bring in ‘da Noise, Bring in ‘da Funk, Joseph 和 the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, 和 安妮. Karl is proud to be a member of Actors’ Equity Association. In May, 2018, Karl stage managed his first opera, Le Nozzi di Figaro 对于OperaNaples.

Karl also has established a resume as an actor, appearing in various 新奥尔良’ productions at Southern Rep 和 the Tulane Shakespeare Festival from 2000-2005. Elsewhere, audiences in Orl和o, New York, 和 Washington D.C. have seen performances in productions ranging from Benedik in Much Ado 关于 Nothing to Henry Higgins in 皮格马利翁.

Karl shares a five decade love 和 friendship with his wife, performer Ann Casey. Their daughters Jessica 和 Gretchen live in Florida 和 Colorado, 和 Karl 和 Ann spend any free time they can with their two gr和daughters in Florida.
